I've lived in Utah for 5 years and this was my first time attending General Conference! My mom was in town so she went with me and my sister. Despite running late, it was an amazing experience and one I'm so happy that we were able to have together.

Teacher Appreciation
My first teacher appreciation week was a success, thanks to some stinkin' cute kiddos and a few awesome parents.
Is the most adorable door you've ever seen or what?!

Disneyland Date
Last year, this same exact Valentine's Day weekend, I had a real Disneyland date…which is now humorous because that didn't work out, clearly. So this year I had a Disneyland date with my best friend, which was magical.
On our way!
$70 in Disney apparel later…..
Such a happy little place
First time on the Little Mermaid ride
My most favorite happiest place and ride of all
In New Orleans, eating gumbo…happiest.
I WANT TO GO BACK!

Valentine's Day: Elementary Edition
It was my first Valentine's Day as a second grade teacher, and I survived! AND I actually loved it! We had a box decorating contest, passed out our valentines, and had such a fun party thanks to my awesome moms.
First, my mom was in town for a little less than a week, so I took advantage! She came in and helped me with this cute door. Each student had a heart with their hand showing the "I love you" sign, and they wrote something or someone that they loved on it. A couple of them said they loved their teacher. Awwww…. :)

I also had to make the kids valentines, of course! With some help from Pinterest, I created some that I was pretty proud of. I bought dollar store bubbles (three in a pack…a steal!) and blow pops. I used Washi tape to tape the blow pops onto the bubbles, and printed out adorable labels for the bubbles! "You make my heart POP!"
I LOVE my kiddos!
